I think many Teslas have sold to Prius people who were waiting for something more upmarket. In my area anyway, a Prius parked at a 7 figure house is not unusual. These are often cars for people who don’t care for cars per se, rather just want to make a wannabe techie-greenie statement.

There’d need to be one gas guzzler in the garage for the hypocritical bent, yeah - GLS, Range Rover, Escalade, maybe a Bentayga if they “worked” really hard.
